Rodolfo Hernandez Obituary (1934 - 2022)

Rodolfo Hernandez, 88, of Calexico, CA, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, of natural causes. Rodolfo Hernandez was born on September 5, 1934, in Ahualulco Jalisco, Mexico. Rodolfo then became a long-time resident of Calexico, CA, where he worked as a bus driver with the Calexico Unified School District. During this time, he also volunteered for the Calexico Fire Department. After retiring from Calexico Unified School District, he dedicated his time to help take care of his three grandchildren, Alysa, Clarissa, and Hector Teran, Jr. There was no dance recital, award ceremony, or karate competition that he missed. He is survived by Eva Hernandez of Calexico, CA., daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Hector Teran of El Centro, CA, and his three grandchildren, Alysa, Clarissa, and Hector Teran, Jr. of El Centro, CA. He joins his loving mother, Maria Hernandez (Mama Grande), his brothers, and sisters in heaven. Visitation will be held Monday, September 26, 2022, at Frye Chapel 338 West Aten Road in Imperial, CA, from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm. Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in El Centro, CA at 8:30 am. Burial following the mass at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro, CA
