Dorothy Marie Freeman, 91, a resident of Holtville, CA passed peacefully on March 20, 2023. She was born on August 26, 1931. to Harvey and Etta Booze in Oklahoma City. When she was a young child, the Booze family moved to California. Dorothy graduated from Holtville High School in 1950.

Dorothy was employed by Wells Fargo Bank for several years until her retirement. It was at the bank that she became acquainted with a regular customer, Gilbert Freeman. On February 24, 1968, Gilbert and Dorothy were married. She remained devoted to him until his death in 2003.

Dorothy was known for her hard work and dedication to raising her two daughters. She enjoyed pastime activities like cooking, sewing, and crafting.

She is survived by daughters, Linda (David) and Carol, two grandsons, Max (Raquel) and Ross; four great-grandchildren, Rene, Heaven, M. Odin, and John.

Services will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Trinity Baptist Church in Holtville, CA. Doors will be opened at 9 am, service will immediately follow.

There will be no reception following the burial.
