Joe Mata

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Joe C. Mata, who passed away at the age of 91, surrounded by his loving family.
Joe is preceded in death by his wife Oralia Mata, son Joe A. Mata, daughters Evelyn Mendoza and Julia Mata.
He is survived by his companion, Margaret Valenzuela; his children, Rosemary (Epifanio), Sandra, Irene (Manuel), Ruben (Monica), and Monica (Rob); his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and his brothers, Tony and Fidel.
Services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Frye Chapel in Brawley, California, followed by burial at Riverview Cemetery at 12 p.m.
