Kathryn Rubin passed away September 14, 2022 at the age of 97 from natural causes in El Centro, California. Born Kathryn Viola Tucker on November 19, 1924 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, she was the third daughter of James Edward Tucker and Irene Louise Randall. She met and married her husband Carl in Ft Lauderdale, FL while he was in the Army for II World War.

She was a long time member and served a term as co-president with her husband Carl of the Imperial County Swiss Club, she was also a member of the Pioneer's Museum of Imperial Valley and of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Holtville, CA.

A graveside service and burial will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro, CA
