Paul Preciado, Jr. Obituary (1940 - 2024)

" Paul Preciado, Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 24, 2024 at the age of 83. Born on December 5, 1940, in Brawley, California. He served in the army and was stationed in Germany. He returned to the Imperial Valley where he worked on the family farm. He then worked for the Imperial County Road Department. As a heavy equipment operator. Paul married Olympia Reina on February 6,1971, they had two children. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the casino, and to the donut shop talking with friends. Paul is preceded in death by his parents Pablo G. Preciado and Mercedes Guizar Preciado. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Olympia Preciado, his children Paul R. Preciado (Silvia) and Olympia Martin (Julio). His five grandsons Pablo, Sebastian, Diego Preciado, Justin Martin, and Julio Martin. Also two step-grandchildren Andrew and Angel Martin. His three siblings Carmen Calhoun, Ida Din, and Eddie Preciado, one aunt, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Viewing will be held on Friday, 08 November 2024 at 8:00am PDT at Frye Chapel Mortuary & Crematory, 799 South Brawley Avenue, Brawley, California, 92227, followed by Rosary at the same venue at 9:00am PDT. A Mass will be held at St Margaret Mary Church, 620 South Cesar Chavez Street, Brawley, California, 92227.
